How can I learn when my guitars with ser number gf0942 was produced?

Without an original bill of sale, you can either estimate the year from the registry, by checking serial numbers before and after your own, and see what year that serial number was likely to be used (looks like 2006 or 2007 from my quick check). That guitar is in the registry, so if you weren't the person who entered it - you might email the one who did (their email is in the entry). If you're the one who entered it into the registry, then the next best thing you can do is to pull the neck off and see what date is stamped (well, written) in the cavity.

Shy of an original bill of sale, the date written in the cavity has the most authority. If you're satisfied with an estimate, I'd say it was probably made in 2006 or 2007, and likely sold in 2007.

Your mileage may very. :D

You might contact G&L Support and ask them for the details of this guitar. Include the full serial number when you contact them.

Hope this helps.

As Dan had mentioned, this guitar is already in the G&L Registry. In looking at the entry, I can see that it has been modded with different pickups.
See this post for details on the original specs: GF models.

After you get the details on your guitar, please update the registry entry and change the ownership to yourself.

Also, please post some photos, too. See: Tutorial: Posting photos.

Hope this helps and looking forward to seeing your guitar.
