See: Serial number significance.

It's a three-bolt neck, so the build year range will be 1992-approx. mid 1997, see: When and why did G&L switch to a four-bolt neck?.

If you can post some photos, including closeups of the pickups, we might be able to narrow that range some. To post photos see: Tutorial: Posting photos.

Hope this helps.

I posted the question above on my way home from work to see my new G&L for the first time. Just got delivered today.
I took a chance as I'd never played a G&L before and good god this guitar is amazing. It feels like a custom shop strat
quality but different if you know what I mean and the neck is just perfect. How on earth have I been playing guitar for
this long and never played one of the amazing guitars before. I'll take some photo's when I calm down.
I have a few high end strats and this is right up there.
I notice there's no G&L logo on the pickups would this be normal for a mid 90's tribute. Definitely going to treat this guitar
to a professional setup as the middle pickup is so low at the moment but it still sounds great.

Yes, for the first three years (1992 - 94) the stock pickups were Seymour Duncan SSL Vintage (flats), see: List of pickups used in G&L guitars.

Hope this helps.

BTW, your Legacy is US made, it's not part of the overseas Tribute line.

Looking at the registry at sn +/- 200 from yours show dates in the range 1992-1993 primarily. And as Elwood pointed out it is an USA built G&L, Tributes are the import models and they weren't made in the time period ypu guitar was buily. Looking forward to seeing some pictures. And please add it to the registry. Enjoy, Dan

Here's a quick video of the new G&L. Just recorded it from my phone. It plays really nice as good as my best strat.

Why doesn't mine sound that good. Oh wait, it's because I don't play that well.
