Help identifying.

Hello everyone, i've just left a deposit ona USA G&L Asat at a local pawnbrokers. I had a chance to pick it up and strum it and also take a look at the matching hardcase. There was also an authentication certificate with it. I can see that one of the pups (bridge?) is non original. Now my question is/are ... What kind of finish is it, i've checked the web but failed to find a match, and can anyone guesstimate its age based on the two images, big ask i know.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers

ASAT Deluxe with a Cherryburst finish. See: http://www.glguitars.com/instruments/US ... /index.asp

It does not have the stock pickups.

If you can get the serial number, then see: Serial number significance.

Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for the quick response. I've seen the cherryburst but not seen the watermark-esque patterns in them. I was wondering if that was a flaw.

Nope, it's a flame Maple cap on top of the Mahogany body.
