Differences: US Fallout vs Tribute Fallout?

This was recently posted on the G&L Facebook page (Answered by Dave McLaren):

What ARE the differences between this Fallout and the Tribute Series versions? What are the similarities too, for that matter.

We'll hit some main points. First off, the made-in-Fullerton version has a wide range of options as is the norm here.
The Tribute version comes in three color combos, that's it. Well, except the special Clear Orange over swamp ash ones
that Full Compass Systems has. The USA version has a G&L P-90 we make here and a Duncan TB-4 bridge bucker.
The Tribute version has a G&L P-90 and a G&L bucker, both wound overseas following our specs. The USA version comes
with an alder body or optional swamp ash, the Tribute version has mahogany. Chrome plated brass saddles on the USA version,
chrome plated cast saddles on the Tribute version. USA version Plek'd. Craftsmanship is obviously not the same, but the Tribute
is built very well. If you don't want to drop much cash and dig a Fallout, you can't go wrong with the Tribute version. It's rock solid,
plays great, sound great... tons 'o fun.
