L-2000 "Passive" Bass

Have what believe to be is an original G&L L-2000 with the 3 switch controls. Problem is the active/passive PCB is missing as well as most of the necesary wiring. The active/passive switch has 2 cut wires; looks like they were a yellow and a white. There's also a black wire currently connected to the "bass" knob.

Done some investigative work on my L-2000, and here's what I've come up with so far:

1. based on the date written in the neck cavity and stamped on the neck, believe the bass was built either Jan or Jun 1980
2. the following information is written in pencil in the neck cavity:
- XP.1-13-80
- Test Body KeiF (?)
3. the following information is stamped on the neck tail:
- the number 3
- Jan (or Jun) 18, 1980
4. written in pencil on the neck tail is L-1000
5. no other information is contained on the body or neck other than the G&L label on the head stock
6. the "mysterious hole" in the control plate appears to have contained another switch of some kind

Contacted G&L with this info, but no "old timers around" to concur, dispute, or provide anything additional. Also, they don't have the "old-style" active/passive electronics only the new style which is $150. I'd rather restore this bass back to original, but have been unlucky so far in tracking down the right parts. So again I ask anyone out there who may have a lead to getting the right active/passive components.

Have posted the following pictures on photobucket under kingman_666:

NOTE: In Ad "A", the pickups are located closer to the neck and the control plate has a smooth inside curve. In Ad "B", the pickups are closer to the bridge, and the control plate has two "protrusions" on the inside curve. Based on this info, my bass matches the "A" picture so the control plate is probably the correct type.
