Leo's 1983 SC-2 evolved into the 1985 G&L Broadcaster, which was renamed ASAT the following year. Thirty years after the SC-2 launched,
it served as the basis of the Fallout.

The word that comes to mind is that there are some very clean guitars in this batch.

And upping the ante, the additional angle shots are a welcome addition.

That Special Deluxe with the lemonburst and creme covers looks delicious. It's really crying out for some gold hardware. That would send it over the top.

The blackburst Cantrell is pretty cool too - well, a lot of them are - again!

Agree with Salmon - side shots are a nice addition. Really liking the natural binding on these guys.

Yes, the natural binding really adds another dimension to the legacy's . Glad to see an SC-2 in there, it has been a while. Everytime I see the JC Superhawk it slowly adds to my idea of what a rock god guitar should look like. And what is the difference between an SB-1 and an LB-100 ? They look similar ( i like them both, minus the pearl guard ). Solid examples again as usual. I look forward to the next batch.

An SB-1 has an MFD pickup. An LB-100 has an alnico.

Thanks for the quick answer Ken. I figured that was it. There was a 3 bolt LB-100 on my local craigslist with case for under 600, it was gone in a day. Looked like it was great condition too.

Howdy FunkyTHB!

Thanks for letting us know where that beautiful ASAT went, glad it went to someone who appreciates it and is now on the GLDP. Please post more pics in a separate thread and be sure to put her in the registry. Looking forward to more pictures.

I see this is your first post. Be sure to jump in more often and post a note in the "introductions" section and tell us more about yourself.

Rock on! :elguitar054:

Tim,

That Bluesboy was a great idea. In that batch of two year old photos my fav is the clear orange Classic.

It's like 45 degrees out there today!
