L2000 Pickup Switch

Looking into the future at possibly changing my L2000 stock pickups

What pickup size would fit this so I can narrow down my shopping list?

I'm not aware of anything that would fit the same footprint. Out of curiosity, why do you want to change them? You should be able to get just about any sound you could want out of an L-2000 between the control settings and pickup height adjustments.

What year was your bass made? There have been a couple of minor changes to the controls and pre-amp over the years. Those may come into play in getting whatever sound you want. Tweaking/modding the circuit would probably be easier and less destructive than trying to change pickups. I have yet to see a pickup change on an L-series or ASAT bass that didn't end in disfigurement...
