Z Coils

See my Introduction message and gallery photos on my S500 to Comanche VI+ project.

While modifying those Z Coils for that project a couple of potential mods became obvious:

1) Removings coils and magnets and making an S coil by flipping the baseplate and reassembling
2) Making a mixed ZCoil with a Will Ray coil
for the bridge bass strings and using a standard coil for the treble. If you wire your guitar in stereo you can have a snappy Tele tone on the bass strings while keeping your position 2/4 glassy Strat chime on the treble strings.

I think I’d like to try this on another Tribute Legacy/S500/Comanche and just play my current Tribute Comanche VI+ as it is.

I feel another project coming.
