Broadcaster neck project

Okay, so several years ago I bought a Broadcaster for a good price because the truss rod was at it's end (there's at least 2 threads about this very guitar already). The neck was pretty straight and playable, but it had a little ski jump hump and the action had to be a tad higher than I care for, and the relief could no longer be adjusted with the rod. So, i've been playing it as is for several years while keeping my eye out for a replacement neck which never came along. So recently I decided I either needed to have the original neck repaired or replace it with something else. I prefer to do projects myself, so I had Musikraft make a new neck with a paddle headstock, so I could cut the correct headstock shape myself. I have a 95 asat with a #2 neck and an 87 Skyhawk with a #1 neck, so I had the neck on this one made with 12'' radius and a 50s gibson profile. I also went with an ebony board, because my ASAT has a maple board, and again I wanted something a little different. Plus, I think it looks killer all blacked out. I painted and clear coated the headstock with aerosol lacquer. I knew the black would match because I had used the same lacquer on a different project awhile ago and noted that it matched the black on the Broadcaster. I had someone online make me decals in gold foil which ended up being a little smaller than the actual Broadcaster logo, but they look really good. The neck profile is so non-G&L, it also doesnt have the dot on the back of the headstock, and there's no stamp or microtilt plate, so if I did ever sell it (which I won't) I'm not concerned with someone trying to pass it off as a real broadcaster neck. Too many obvious differences. Any way, here's some pictures of it. I thought the G&L board would appreciate this project.

Sorry for the poor picture quality; I'm terrible with pictures. Also, my dog kept wanting to get into every picture.

that neck looks flat, wide and a joy to play.

Good work,

Old post I know, but I'm willing to bet a luthier could fix the old neck. Clamping, heat etc. ; might be worth it.
