George Fullerton

Tomorrow I am playing a George Fullerton model G&L all day long in honor of a great American. I got to talk to him once and we did not talk about guitars, we talked about painting.

Casey, a good and honorable thing to do in his memory.

Would have lived to have been a fly on the wall during your talk with him. Are you a painter as well?

My opportunity to talk with Mr. Fullerton was arranged by Tim Page. It was a lark. Tim pulled out his phone and asked me if I would like to talk to George. He called California, we were in Chicago, and told George that he was with a fan of his guitars.
At the other end of the line was a man that defined the shape of modern music, an architect of rock and roll, country and western and all points in between. At the other end was a humble genius.

Fullerton model G&L into a Full-Tone into a modded Fender Champ = Fun!

Here's to you George!
