Only Hank is Hank. No one even comes close. He was a major influence on a generation of guitarists, including Dave Gilmour and Mark Knopfler.

he's the master of "getting the most out of the least" , love him ...... it seems like it would be so easy to play his riff , but it's so hard to duplicate that touch he has

The Hellecasters had the honor of backing him for a set at a UK Trade show. He's very humble and down to earth.

Jerry Donahue and I ran into him over in Australia in 1999 or 2000. I think he lives there now. He's still a monster player!

Some of the first pieces of guitar music I tried to learn (along with my brother) when I started playing guitar.

Just heard an interview of Peter Frampton on the Howard Stern show today. He listed Hank and The Shadows as a major influence of his when he was a kid.

:crazy: that's one cheesy 70's video for sure. you're right, Tom, i have probably suffered permanent dain bramage from watching that!
