Soon to be without a jazz guitar, first time in years

I had a good run the last 15 years or so playing in a duo and small combo setting with a sax playing buddy of mine.
Seems like all the reunions and receptions have stopped booking live music.
To that end I put my Eastman archtop on the block here and elsewhere.
Kinda sad but there are seasons for everything and might be time to move on.
On a positive note jazz can be one less thing in my "jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none" list.
I can concentrate on being average at fewer music styles. :)
For grins here is a clip of my buddy and I playing the theme from Willy Wonka.
It's just a quick one take home recording.

Jazz:

I understand your concern about NOT having a jazzer. I'd be lost without hollowbody guitars. Good luck as you "change paces" and move forward.

BTW, I enjoyed your little clip. Very nice.
Take care.
Deuce.

You might be happy with a hybrid guitar that can cover a variety of styles--thinking ES-335 or Taylor T3. Even the T5 works for jazz.

But then, so do Teles, classics,....etc.
